Sweet and Spicy Beef and Broccoli

This is my lovely boyfriend enjoying his, and no I didn’t have to use it as an apology this time 🙂

For your sauce:

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 container BBQ sauce
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1tbsp oregano
  • 1tbsp garlic salt
  • 1tbsp seasoning salt

For the food:

  • 2 packages of stew beef, beef strips, or some sort of beef you can make into strips
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1tbsp basil
  • 1tbsp oregano
  • 3 cups broccoli flourets
  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 tbsp mediteranean seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Step 1:

Put chopped onion and garlic into a large skillet, followed by the olive oil. Heat at medium heat. Add stew beef to the pan, and sautee the whole mixture together.

Step 2:

Use a double boiler, and steam your broccoli while the meat mixture sizzles.

Step 3:

Make rice according to the box instructions. Once rice has finished last step and has been sitting, add mediteranean seasoning. Add basil and oregano to meat mixture.

Step 4:

Mix your sauce. Combine all of the ingredients listed for the sauce above. Mix together gently, just until blended.

Step 5:

Once meat mixture has reached desired tenderness, the dinner is ready to be served! Serve meat mix over rice, broccoli on top, and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top. Delicious!

You can always change the recipe just a bit to make it either more sweet or more spicy. It’s completely up to you!
